Classic Motor Works, the only classic TVR parts business in the United States, was founded by Gene Bird in Johnstown, PA in 1982. Bird, who was also a TVR dealer for some years, endeavored to provide parts to TVR owners so they would not have to source these parts overseas.

In April 2006, veteran TVR owner/enthusiast Marshall Moore, President of the TVR Car Club North America, acquired Classic Motor Works from Bird and has steadily been expanding the parts offerings. 2007 marked the 25th anniversary of Classic Motor Works and CMW thanks all of its customers, past and present, for their patronage and looks forward to serving many more of you in the future... NOTE:  We will be at the third annual Griffith/TVR Gathering June 26-28, 2009 at Mid-Ohio Raceway.  If you will be attending, and need any parts for your TVR or Griffith, get your order in early and I will deliver to you at Mid-Ohio.
